NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland. A panel of government acquisition experts will discuss the practical challenges and solutions in implementing the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) during the "Realizing MOSA in Government Acquisition" panel. The discussion is set for June 18 at 1 pm EDT at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.

Panelists include Tom Aitken, CMFF Principal Engineer at the U.S. Army PEO C3T, PM Mission Command; Calvin Cheung from the Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center, specializing in Ground Vehicle Robotics; Christopher Garrett, Technical Advisor, Systems Engineering, USAF; Jason Morris from PMA209 CMCD IPT Systems Engineering Support, US Navy; and John Van Houton, Chief Engineer for Army Aviation, Army APEO E&A. They will share insights from their extensive experiences in MOSA implementation, discussing the nuances of navigating complex requirements, integrating diverse systems, and fostering new partnerships with providers.

Moderated by Michael Scott Moore, founder of Moore Integrity Engineering, the panel aims to highlight innovative ideas and best practices that have emerged from the front lines of government acquisition. Attendees will gain a better understanding of effective strategies to address and overcome the challenges associated with MOSA requirements in government projects.
