F-16 aircraft to receive Raytheon's mission computer upgrade

PLANO, Texas. Raytheon engineers will develop and produce F-16 Modular Mission Computer Upgrade for the U.S. Air Force.
Officials say, the mission computer will provide two times the processing power and 40 times the current memory. It is based on commercial technology and combines multi-core processing and cybersecurity with next-generation high-speed computing and high-speed data networks.
