Strike weapons system engineering support contract won by SimVentions

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. U.S. Navy officials selected SimVentions to provide systems engineering, software development, and test and evaluation capabilities to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Weapons Control and Integration Department, Strike Weapons Systems Division, as well as to various Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs and projects.
Under contract, SimVentions will deliver support for systems, software, cybersecurity, and test engineering. Engineers will perform system analysis, modeling and simulation of a variety of weapons systems, weapon control systems, and warfare systems, such as the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS).
SimVentions will also deliver services for projects including system requirements and interface management; command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I); cybersecurity engineering; in-service systems and fleet support; software engineering analysis; design and development; system hardware testing and analysis; configuration management; and system and software process improvement.
The contract spans over a five-year period and is valued at $52 million.
