Bluefin Robotics bought out by General Dynamics Mission Systems

FAIRFAX, Va. Officials at General Dynamics Mission Systems announced they are expanding their unmanned platform solutions portfolio with the acquisition of Bluefin Robotics, a manufacturer of unmanned undersea vehicles (UUVs) for U.S. military and commercial customers.
The value of the transaction has not been disclosed, but Bluefin Robotics will be absorbed into the company's Maritime and Strategic Systems line of business.
