CHELMSFORD, Mass. Mercury Defense Systems, a subsidiary of Mercury Systems, has received an order for its radar environment simulation equipment for an international company of aerospace and defense. The order, an estimated $2.7 million, was booked in the fourth quarter of the 2015 fiscal year.

“The ability to simulate and stimulate airborne radars with realistic targets, threats, background clutter, and synthetic imagery is critical to providing useful and effective testing capability,” says Brian Perry, President of Mercury Defense Systems.

The radar simulation equipment is expected to ship over the next several quarters.
