ARCHBALD, Pa. U.S. Air Force representatives selected Lockheed Martin for a follow-on production contract for the company's Paveway II Plus Laser Guided Bomb (LGB) kits. The contract is worth an estimated $87.6 million.

Deliveries of the LGB kits include guidance and tail assemblies for GBU-10 (2,000-lb.) and GBU-12 (500-lb.) LGB configurations. Officials say the contract represents the majority share of fiscal year 2016 funding.

The systems are designed and manufactured at Lockheed Martin’s facility in Archbald, Pennsylvania.
