Fast VPX transceiver from Teledyne Defense Electronics to debut at AOC 2019 convention

56th ANNUAL AOC INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AND CONVENTION, WASHINGTON, DC. Teledyne Defense Electronics (Mountain View, California) is introducing a modular 6U VPX transceiver with the fast tuning and low phase noise performance at this week's Association of Old Crows (AOC) Symposium.
This new modular transceiver, a broadband 6 to 18 GHz VPX card, is aimed at meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of today’s microwave transceiver applications in an open systems-based platform. It also offers a high dynamic range plus built-in LO generation with external system reference. The compact system, weighing less than 2.75 kg (about 6 pounds), is also ruggedized and air-cooled with 75 W (max) power consumption.
