BETHESDA, Md. Lockheed Martin has won a $7.1 million contract from the U.S. Navy for Combat System Ship Integration and Test on new-construction guided missile frigate (FFG(X)) ships.

Under the terms of the contract, Lockheed Martin will perform combat system (CS) ship integration engineering support and test planning, conduct a waterfront CS ship integration and test program, handle post-delivery engineering support for government test teams, perform engineering services for CS ship integration and test, and develop test program documents for FFG(X) ships.

Work under the contract is expected to be complete in June 2025; in the event that all options are exercised, the cumulative value of the contract would rise to $124.9 million and work would continue through July 2029.
