56th ANNUAL AOC INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AND CONVENTION, WASHINGTON, DC. Northrop Grumman is showing its Joint Threat Emitter (JTE) at the AOC Convention this week; the JTE simulates both single- and double-digit surface-to-air and anti-aircraft artillery radar systems to accurately train combat air crews to defeat or avoid Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS) around the world in a warlike training environment.
According to company information, the JTE enables users to train the same way they will fight; can simulate multithreat training on a single system; has fully integrated IADS command-and-control emulation; includes reactivity to aircraft maneuvers and electronic countermeasures; comes with complete debriefing capability, and has an IFF tracking system in multiplayer mode.
