Radar, SATCOM diodes from MACOM debut at IMS

INTERNATIONAL MICROWAVE SYMPOSIUM 2020. Three new wideband diode products -- the MASW-011111-DIE, the MAAV-011014-DIE and the MAAD-011038-DIE -- aimed at use in applications such as defense, aerospace, passive imaging, radiometry, and satellite communications -- were introduced by semiconductor maker MACOM at the virtual International Microwave Symposium 2020.
According to information from the company, the recent entrants are the microwave industry’s first integrated W-band diode products that operate between 80 GHz and 100 GHz frequency range while also achieving high linearity and 1dB power compression of approximately +25 dBm.
