RESTON, Va. The Center for Cyber Security Studies (CCCS) at the U.S. Naval Academy received a monetary donation from Ledios in support of their 2015 fall cyber security studies.
The goal of CCCS is to educate all midshipmen in cyber defense and warfare and the donation will support the fall series of three to five lectures that are open to not just the Brigade of Midshipmen, but also government employees and a limited number of guests.
“It is a widely held belief that our next war will begin not on land, sea or in the air, but in the networks that tie so many of our information, financial, and defense systems together. Our Navy and Marine Corps officers must be prepared to fight and win in this new theater,” says John Rudder, senior director of development at the Naval Academy Foundation.
