GSA awards $165 million contract to bolster U.S. cyberdefense

MCLEAN, Va. Booz Allen Hamilton has won a five-year, $165 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the General Services Administration (GSA)/Federal System Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) to provide plans and policy, training, and administrative and staff support services to USCYBERCOM, a subordinate of the Department of Defense?s Strategic Command.
James Allen, an executive vice president and cyber account leader at Booz Allen, said that the company uses a “proactive” approach in efforts to help defend the U.S. infrastructure against increasing cyber threats.
