Drop-in Replacements for Popular HI-3585 family with Improved SPI Interface - Press Release

Mission Viejo, CA – Holt Integrated Circuits today released a new ARINC 429 protocol IC, HI-35850, which provides a drop-in replacement for the popular HI-3585 and features a faster 12 MHz SPI interface. The new device also provides an additional SPI opcode which allows multiple messages to be read from the receive FIFO with a single command. This greatly improves the efficiency of the host microcontroller message processing, while maintaining full compatibility with legacy software.

Mission Viejo, CA – Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of HI-25850, a new 3.3V MIL-STD-1553 dual transceiver with integrated transformers. The device combines Holt’s recently announced HI-15850 MIL-STD-1553 transceiver IC with the required isolation transformers in a single package. The HI-15850 is identical to Holt’s HI-1585, with the added feature of 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V compatible digital I/O.
