U.S. Army orders secret and non-secure routers from Comtech

MELVILLE, N.Y. The U.S. Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (WIN-T) Commercial Satellite Terminal Program approved funding to procure Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Access Point (SNAP) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems from Comtech's Command & Control Technologies Group - part of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Government Solutions segment.
The order is worth an estimated $8.8 million and was approved through the Army's GTACS contract vehicle. To date, Comtech has received $71.5 million of funded orders against the $91.0 million contract ceiling.
