With the NIU1 Gigabit Ethernet-to-I/O interface unit, add I/O and communications functions to existing systems – fast with no redesign. Connect to existing Ethernet networks for full access to all I/O function needs.
The NIU1 offers unprecedented I/O capabilities in an integrated, compact, nano-sized subsystem and takes advantage of NAI's modular, high density COTS, Intelligent I/O and integrated Power supply products.
Additionally, by using dual Gigabit Ethernet (TCP/IP & UDP support) as its main interface I/O, communication, measurement and simulation functions for data acquisition, distribution and processing, applications are now easily integrated into larger systems without the need of costly updates to existing qualified systems.
I/O support includes:
- High Density A/D, D/A, Discretes, Differential & TTL
- Synchro/Resolver/LVDT/RVDT Measurement, Simulation and Excitation
- SATA Flash Memory Storage, RTD, Encoder, Strain Gage
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) Support
