Jointly owned division set up in Saudi Arabia by Orbital ATK

DULLES, Va. To support its grown regional presence, Orbital ATK, Inc. established a jointly owned subsidiary, Alliant Techsystems Operations LTD, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Officials say the goal is to strengthen Orbital ATK’s alliances in the country and collaborate with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by assisting in realizing its objectives in national security, defense, and training.
Orbital ATK officials plan to work in partnership with local Saudi industry to develop indigenous capabilities to preserve peace and maintain stability.
“Orbital ATK has been serving the needs of Saudi Arabia for many years,” says Mike Kahn, President, Orbital ATK Defense Systems Group. “This new Saudi company reflects our long-term commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a strong ally of the United States.”
