L3 to leverage B-2 aircrew training system under $120 million contract

NEW YORK. L3 Technologies officials signed a $120 million contract to continue training U.S. Air Force (USAF) B-2 pilots, maintainers, and weapons-loading personnel using its B-2 Aircrew Training System.
L3 has been under two previous B-2 pilot training contracts as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and provider of the B-2 Training System since 1984.
Training is conducted at the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, in Missouri. In addition, the L3 Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) located at Whiteman Air Force Base provides on-site engineering support.
