BAE Systems will equip USAF rescue helicopter with friend or foe & missile warning system

ARLINGTON, Va. U.S. Air Force?s HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter will receive BAE Systems? Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) AN/DPX-7 Reduced Size Transponder (RST) and the Common Missile Warning System (CMWS).
The Air Force will deploy the CMWS Gen3 system that includes hostile fire indication and data recording capabilities, officials say. The system also performs post-mission analysis. The RST supports combat identification and sense-and-avoid applications with its Mode 5 and ADS-B In/Out capabilities.
The aircraft is expected to undergo a preliminary design review this year.
