Human-machine interface project chooses InfoScitex to support U.S. Army demo program

LITTLETON, Mass. InfoScitex Corp. -- a subsidiary of DCS Corporation -- has been chosen to support the Advanced Teaming Demonstration Program (A-Team) for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center Aviation Development Directorate at Ft. Eustis, Virginia (CCDC AvMC ADD-E).
Under the terms of the award, InfoScitex will perform work on several subsystems technology development and integration tasks on the A-Team in pursuit of human-machine interface and operations management autonomy technologies necessary to enable teamed, multidomain operations in lethal, communication-denied environments. The InfoScitex/A-Team effort will leverage the InfoScitex TECUMSA software architecture and research in manned-unmanned teaming from the Army's Synergistic Unmanned Intelligent Teaming (SUMIT) program. An InfoScitex team based in Ohio will work with Army representatives and other contributors to demonstrate technical capabilities intended to pave the way for the U.S. Army to adopt autonomous capabilities.
The A-Team program encompasses Army systems, subsystems, and component technologies including manned and unmanned aircraft systems, mission-equipment packages, and software-enabled capabilities aimed at integrating integrated to enable advanced teaming operational capabilities.
